My passion for education ignited in 2008 when I left my software engineering job to help my brother-in-law run an academic summer camp at his Montessori School. I realized teaching students gave me much more satisfaction and sense of purpose in life. After that transformative experience, I pursued a teaching degree and spent two years at Bramalea Secondary School and Fletcher Meadows Secondary School. As a teacher in these schools, I received heartwarming feedback from students, especially those who were struggling academically. They expressed how much they appreciated my teaching style and wished I could stay longer.
After having taught at the schools, I pursued my passion to open my own tutoring academy, where I could really help focus my time and energy to help students who were willing to put additional time towards enhanced learning. My first student was Ritika, a recent immigrant from India who struggled with reading and writing in English. I embraced the challenge and helped her become a fluent reader within a year. Word of my success spread, and soon I had students from all grades, without even needing to advertise. Over the past 16 years, I’ve taught hundreds of students, boasting a 100% success rate among those pursuing university and college. I take pride not only in teaching core concepts but also in guiding my students through their career choices.
My biggest satisfaction continues to come from hearing back from my students on how well they are succeeding in their careers and life. Many of them continue to send me glorious testimonials that I cherish very much.
